Ashlee Buzzard Arrested; charges are unrelated to missing daughter, Melodee Buzzard
LOMPOC — Friday, Santa Barbara County Sheriff detectives arrested 40 year old Ashlee Buzzard on a warrant for a felony charge which is unrelated to the continued search for her 9 year old daughter, Melodee Buzzard.
KSMA learned that detectives were following up on a recent incident where Ashlee prevented a victim from leaving a location against their will, constituting false imprisonment. We’re told that this crime she was arrested for is in no way related to the search for Melodee, but authorities right now are unable to elaborate further on this crime, these particular charges and today’s arrest of Ashlee Buzzard.
Ashlee will be booked at the Northern Branch Jail with bail set at $100,000.
Law enforcement officials and agencies involved continue to work diligently on finding Melodee and confirming her safety.
